VA-205 Green Falcons Challenge Coin - Large & Beautiful - FREE SHIPPING!
Offered here is a beautiful and impressive challenge coin that commemorates the US Naval Reserve squadron, the Green Falcons of VA-205. The squadron operated from NAS Atlanta from 1970 until 1991. The coin is 2" wide, and 3mm thick, cast in gold-tone metal with great colors and texture. One side features the squadron's insignia. The other side of this coin is emblazoned with the CVWR-20 insignia, a set of Naval Aviator and NFO wings, and the insignia for the A-4 Skyhawk, A-7 Corsair II, and A-6 Intruder, the dates they flew each, as well as the "AF" tailcode and oft-used moniker of "Salty Dogs". The coin would make a wonderful gift for anyone who served with VA-205, or would make a great addition to any collection.
